I had always been interested in web development. I just found it so amazing how web development was always changing and advancing and I decided I wanted more people to become engaged with web development so I began to start a web development project and go around schools offering presentations to teach people all about spam, booking on-line, web programs and much more. I was really excited because I was going to make money for a charity by advertising an on-line auction for things owned by celebrities and I knew I would make lots of money for charity. I also found it a golden chance to improve my presentation skills as well as boost my confidence so I was really really excited and it was just brilliant.

Last December, I visited the company where i had worked before. I worked there in a web software development department for already three years. The company paid me well and i was so satisfied with the salary they gave me each month. Unfortunately, our town was hit by a storm and it was so bad that our house was flooded with rain water and mud. We had not saved anything, all of our appliances have been damaged and our house was not liveable anymore. My wife and I decided to transfer to another place where we can live safely no matter how far it would be. We then transferred to my parent's place and decided to leave my job in web software development company. I have no choice but quit my job. I love my job so much but I know that I can still find another job in my parent's place.

I attempted to set up a free web site but had no idea what to do. I was asked what my web site design would be and, to be honest, I was clueless. What is web site design? How is web site design done? I'm sure for the more technically minded these are simple questions but, when you are the sort of person who it took six months to work out how to send e-mails, then web site design is completely beyond you. Its no wonder how people gets attached to cyberspace. The way people communicates online in real-time never ceases to amaze me. When I first created a user name in an online messenger, I started to wonder how two people in different countries communicate instantly. My computer is the best thing i ever learned to use.i learned to use one in my late forties, but i say you are never to old to learn new things so go for it.I can find any thing on my computer by just the click of a key.You can have your own web site, your own website designs, if you go to your search engine and put in web site designs , it will bring up all kinds for you to choose from and you can also make your own website designs , you just think what you want on your website designs and find a good eye catching logo that draws attention to your site. to let people know what it is all about and to make them interested enough to open up your website and read it and find it interesting and informative to them, no matter what your selling or just helping people you must first grab their attention or no one will want to be bothered to look if it is dull or boring .So think seriously about it all first sit down draw some things you would like on your website designs , then go look at other sites see what they have on theirs see if it is a busy site that many people look at, if it is not start again, there is so many on line that it may take days weeks even , but if it is worth doing it is worth doing well.Go look at the advertising on-line also it can give hints about what catches the public eye, what stands out most.You want to stand out from the others so be bold be forthright and just go for it.I use my computer for looking up lots of things so have looked at advertising, also i use my search engines a lot they are very useful to have i keep one on my desktop so i can just click on it and get started right away.I was also going to publish a book of poetry once and needed a good design for the front of the book so looked at a few sites to see what they had, but in the end i changed my mind and did not publish. I had seen an ad recently promoting a web site that could connect average every day computer users to a web software development company that offered discounts on some of the newest software available to the web. So I typed in the web site address and not surprisingly a pop-up appeared while my computer slowly downloaded the full image. It was at that moment that I had decided that maybe it was about my time that I updated my computer. I was already opening aweb site that could find me some web software development at a cheap rate so why not see what they offered and how much it would cost. Everything had seemed fairly priced, I even did the math andsaw that I had enough to get everything I needed and maybe even afford a few other things that I could use. I had money inthe bank and a credit card in myhand and was ready to make an online purchasebut I wanted to make sure that the company was legit. So I opened up anotherbrowser and another pop-up and opened so I knew I was definitely going to buy the pop-up blocker. I then decided to find a chat room that discussed cheap computer updates.I had eventually found a chat room discussing web software development discounts and I decided to post a message asking if anyone had ever heard of this particular company before. Immediately I had started receiving several messages about how allot of the other chatters had used this company before and they had in fact offered the best prices and the best quality product.I had heard from a fewother people thatagreed with the previous people’s assessment.I exited the chat room and went back to the previous browser that had the web software development page.I selectedallthe products I wantedand entered in all the correct credit card information. I belong to a forum. This particular forum is for people that own a web site. It's for these people to share website designingtips, and advertise their own site. My personal web site is about my football club. I started it up because we didn't have one already. I've been talking to someone on the forum that also runs a web site for their football club, and we've decided to get our clubs together for a match. We decided on a place, a time, and a date,and my club have said yes.Last weekI went onto the forums to contact the other guy, to see if his club had agreed yet. When I clicked on the link to the forum, a message came up. It was from the forum moderator, and said the forum had been temporarily taken off-line. It's a disaster. A complete disaster. I really need to contact this guy as soon as possible. The date is coming up fast for our match, but my coach wont book a mini-bus until we have confirmation! I don't know what to do. I emailed the moderator to ask how long the forums will be off-line for, and he didn't answer. Maybe his email is down as well. At this rate, we're going to have to cancel the match without telling the other guy, and his team will just have to wait there until they realise we're not coming! Its ridiculous. I think I'll try the moderator again. I've found an alternative email address for him, so hopefully he will be able to speed things up. I have no idea how long it takes to do whatever work they're doing to the forums. No idea how long it will be off-line for! The whole team is mad at me. Especially coach. They were all really looking forward to this match. I've tried explaining that it's not my fault that the forums are down, but coach says I should have at least got the guys mobile number. Maybe I should have, then I would be able to contact him. On the other hand - he didn't get my number either, so I hope hes getting as much grief as I am.

My friends rich step father one day asked me if I knew any website designers or anyone good with networking that can set up a website for him that has it's own email and a search engine. He wanted it to promote his products and sell them online, and asked "What do web designers usually charge, 2-3 thousand bucks?". I said "Yeah about that much", I was stoked he thought they would cost that much and of course I needed some money and thought this was the perfect opportunity to get some cash. My friend hates his step father by the way, so he was all for me trying to get some cash out of him, he even told me I should get enough so we could get some NBA tickets. So anyway I know nothing about networking, but I knew how to get a email and a search engine for the site. I googled for some tutorials on networking and found nothing really. I then searched a for pre-made web layouts and saw some excellent ones his step father wanted for his website. I downloaded a couple and asked him which design he wanted, he was really impressed like "Those look really professional, your pretty good". I laughed as he chose the design he wanted and went home to create the site. I haven't really talked to him about prices yet but I told him it's going to take awhile to implement the email and the search engine and that it was pretty difficult making everything work. He really liked the design though so he urged me to do it and come back to him about my pay. The next two days I came to him with the full website, he was really impressed. He asked me how much I wanted, I tried to play it off as If I was giving him a discount and said for you Mr. Markov $900 would do. To my surprise he totally fell for what I was doing and said "You giving me a discount, thanks". He then wrote me a check for $900 and I proceeded to get 4 tickets for me and my best friends to the Hawks game. We had a lot of fun that day and it was the easiest $900 of my life.

My husband last year would become very angry with me for my mind living in cyberspace. I lived on the computer! I woke up in the morning and would get a cup of coffee and acigarette, and thenimmediatelycheck my online messenger to see if any of my cyberspace friends were online. I usually just sang karaoke on My Space and socialized with my friends on my Google messenger. I did not plan on trying on-line investing, because I never heard any good news related to the subject. My name is Tom Green and I guess you could say I am an internet junkie. I work on many different sites doing a lot of different kinds of work. I am paid according to how long I am online on some sites as a moderator and on others I work on I am an internet security monitor. I have other places on the net I work but none as fun as those where I watch the dating online web site chat rooms. Yes they are monitored for the most part. You never know when one of us is there or not. Moderator jobs are fun and easy, and take a lot of idle time to some very funny places. That is the beauty of it. I also serve as an internet security guard for some of these web sites. I watch the logging into and out of some of these sites and make sure nothing is being uploaded of a malicious sort. I have all the bells and whistles to let me know if anything untoward is detected, but there's still nothing like having a person watching over things while you play at role play or such online.

I got up this morning and the first thing I did was check my on-line auction site. I am bidding on a snowboard for my little brother, for his birthdaythat is coming up in November.
